Episode 3 of the Vegan Roadie, Featuring Cocobeet
Dustin Harder, AKA the Vegan Roadie, travels the country, trying and featuring the best vegan establishments across the country. We were honored to be featured on Episode 3, airing February 24th. Dustin is a dedicated vegan, graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC, and a truly charismatic host. His enthusiasm for health, wellness, and delicious vegan food is utterly contagious.
This seasoned vegan was impressed with our Boston local store. “It was amazing to see a place making whole, healthy, organic, local and sustainable ingredients available at such a convenience! This place needs to be EVERYWHERE.”
Onur and Kyle walk Dustin through making our signature Warm Quinoa Bowl (per his blog, it was “stuck in my brain all afternoon”) and Zucchini Pesto Pasta. Juices, smoothies, health shots; Dustin tried it all. He couldn’t get enough of the health shots (“you take one and you are good to go, no coffee required”), loved the Quinoa Sliders (“went batty”), and gave rave reviews to his post-filming three-day cleanse.
“Cocobeet is truly inspiring. I can’t tell you how marvelous it is for Boston that they have a place where they can trust the ingredients and get them so efficiently. It really is thanks to people like you taking a risk and making change that we’re starting to see a difference in the world — slowly, but surely.”
Thanks for the visit, Dustin! We appreciate your support of plant-based eating and local, small businesses like Cocobeet.
(We have to admit, Dustin and his cameraman, Drew, threw back Green Heat shots like true professionals. Not a flinch in sight. Well done!)
Come visit us the next time you’re back — we’ll be watching your show in the meantime.
