Boston Vegan Blogger: Juice Cleanse Review

Damn Fine Fitness: “Quality-wise, you can’t beat Cocobeet.”

We were thrilled to see a review of our Reroot Juice Cleanse on the fitness and nutrition blog Damn Fine Fitness. Mary Kate Bell is the dedicated vegan blogger behind this excellent resource. She’s a health enthusiast, a certified Pilates teacher, and certified in Plant-Based Nutrition through Cornell University.

Of our cleanse options, Mary Kate chose the popular Reroot Cleanse. This moderate, all-liquid cleanse features a mixture of our organic cold-pressed juices and smoothies. The juices are packed with nutrition, and the smoothies contain fiber and healthy fats like coconut oil. As a result, the Reroot Cleanse offers the detoxifying benefits of a juice cleanse without the deprivation. It’s packed with energy and filling enough to keep you satisfied.

Mary Kate thoroughly agreed!

A few choice quotes from her review:

“Everything on the cleanse was so freaking delicious and you can seriously tell the difference in quality between Cocobeet and the stuff you see on grocery store shelves (even the “raw” organic ones).”

“I never felt hungry during the day and I felt super energized… they write down which hours to drink everything so I didn’t have to think at all about what I was doing.  Each juice left me feeling satisfied and it didn’t feel super sugary … Quality-wise, you can’t beat Cocobeet.”

Screen Shot 2015-03-27 at 3.37.10 PMThe Blue Coconut was one of her favorites (welcome to the club!). With organic blueberries, coconut oil, almonds/almond butter, chia seeds, and dates for a hint of sweetness, this smoothie is as filling and nutritious as it is tasty.

On a Cocobeet cleanse, the day starts with a cleansing health shot; in Mary Kate’s case, she tried and loved our Heartbeet. Beets oxygenate the blood and are a favorite of endurance athletes everywhere. Coconut H2O hydrates, lime adds vitamin C and alkalizing properties, and spirulina detoxifies heavy metals from the blood.

Thanks for the review, Mary Kate. We look forward to seeing you when you’re back in the States. Your next cleanse awaits!
